Hey guys,

I'm the "new kid on the block" trying to get a little more serious with my clubmaking.  I have a customer who absolutely loves his 2001ish PING Ti TEC driver.  The back weight has fallen out of the head.  Can you still get these from PING?  I am currently waiting on a reply from their customer service via email.  If these are no longer available, can I use some other form of a weight.  My thinking is...if i can't get the replacement back weight from PING, but I can find out how many grams the original piece weighed, I can just replace the backweight with a machined piece of metal, lead, whatever, and epoxy it in the insert depression.  Of course, this is probably waaaay too simple minded, but I am here to learn from any/all suggestions.  Please offer some guidance here.  Thanks, in advance, for helping this aspiring hobbyist!
