Bio Information:
I became a golf professional in 1971 and worked as an assistant pro under Class A Professionals until 1974. During that time I attended PGA Business School I. I also gave lessons and competed locally. In the winter of 1972 I played in the NTGA mini tour in Tampa and in a Florida Winter Tour event in Ocala, Florida.During that time I met the Lord Jesus Christ and went back to school to prepare for Christian ministry, and served the Lord in schools and local churches until 2012. During my preparation at seminary, I supported my family by giving golf lessons at a local driving range in Arlington, Texas.I retired from full time ministry and moved back to Florida to be closer to my wife’s parents. I began my golf business, Custom Clubs and Lessons, Inc., in 2014 and updated my club making and teaching skills in the schools listed above. I have been teaching again since 2013, doing custom club fitting, as well as repairing and building custom clubs since 2014. I have been given teaching privileges at an outdoor golf academy since 2015.
