I am an engineer (an applied Physics discipline) by education (PhD) & professional practice (PE) being attracted to the making; fitting; and repairing of golf clubs approaching three decades. That engineering background has provided me with the needed tools to understand the "playability" of a golf club. These tools come from the knowledge/application of a handful of Physics principles. I'm an advocate of a club fitting philosophy that could be termed the "common sense" fitting of golf clubs . . . attributed to a respected designer of golf club heads.
